Lana Del Rey Debuted the World's Biggest Bangs at the Grammys
We're surprised she could see the Grammys red carpet at all.
Lana Del Ray is the quintessential mall goth, so it's no surprise that the singer is perpetually playing with different bang styles. We've seen her wear side bangs and we've seen her wear curtain bangs, but we've never seen her wear bangs that are so long that we're impressed she can even see from underneath them. She showed up at the 2024 Grammys red carpet with thick, full fringe that reached even past her lashes.
The singer also did her own spin on the hair bow trend that we've seen on multiple red carpets this awards season, with an oversized satin bow tied around the crown of her head. If you're a Del Ray fan, you won't be surprised to hear that the bow is black, and it matches her hair and gown perfectly. Without getting close enough to give the bangs a yank, it's hard to tell whether the new look is courtesy of a clip-in or a new cut, though if it is a clip-in, the hair bow is in perfect position to hide the evidence.
The singer also wore a subtle cat eye and barely-there face makeup — though she did finish the look with a bolder choice, the same dark lip liner, light lipstick style that we've also seen tonight on Chloë Bailey.
Del Ray is nominated for five Grammys this year, including Album of the Year and Song of the Year. But no matter what happens, she's already won the coveted Allure award for Biggest Bangs of the Year.
