Jessica Alba Embraces Sheer Detailing in Fendi Look for ‘Jimmy Fallon’ Show Appearance, Talks New Film ‘Trigger Warning’
The actress' new action film hits Netflix June 21.
Jessica Alba made an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Monday, showcasing her proclivity for sheer pieces and business style. The Honest Company cofounder talked about her upcoming action-packed Netflix film “Trigger Warning.”
For her late-night talk show appearance, Alba fashioned pieces courtesy of Fendi. The actress wore a silk sheer collared gray long-sleeve top paired with a burgundy suede paneled high waisted midi skirt. Alba’s ensemble wholly took business attire and elevated it with a sensual spin.
Along with the gray collared shirt and black, high-waisted midi skirt, Alba paired the look with gray heels and accessorized with a pair of hoop earrings. The look was evocative of the type of tailored dressing Alba has fashioned over the course of the last few years.
In August 2023, the “Honey” star proved she meant business while attending the Fearless Venture Capital Summit in Atlanta. For the occasion, Alba opted to wear a commanding fiery red Kate Spade suit with skinny tailored trousers. She paired her power suit moment with slingback pumps by Aldo.
Alba is also among the stars who are embracing the revival of the vest trend. During her appearance at Wimbledon in July 2023, Alba wore a double-breasted beige vest with matching tailored trousers.
Speaking to Fallon, Alba addressed stepping down as the chief creative officer of The Honest Company last April and her new venture as the head of Lady Spitfire, a production company that launched in February. “I feel like it’s my fourth baby and I sent my baby off to college.…It was hard, but I’m ready for my next chapter,” Alba said.
Next, Alba returns to movies in her production company’s female-led action film “Trigger Warning,” which hits Netflix on June 21.
