Jennifer Lawrence Makes Timeless Statement in Classic Black Pumps at Dior’s Spring 2024 Paris Fashion Week Show
Jennifer Lawrence has a long-standing relationship with Dior, so it didn’t come as much of a surprise to see her hit the front row to take in the brand’s latest womenswear collection at Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday.
The Oscar-winning actress looked sophisticated in a sleek, black-and-white outfit as she joined other brand ambassadors, including Charlize Theron, Anya Taylor-Joy and Robert Pattinson, for a photocall ahead of the show.
Lawrence’s elegant look was complete with timeless black pumps, a velvety style with a pointed toe that just peaked out from underneath her long skirt.
On top, the “Silver Linings Playbook” star, 33, donned a classic white collared shirt with several buttons undone and the sleeves cuffed just below the elbow. She tucked the crisp shirt into a black belted velvet skirt that skimmed the tops of her stiletto-clad feet. Posing casually, she made use of the glamorous maxi skirt’s pockets.
Lawrence, who was seated next to Rosalía in the front row, accessorized her chic getup with a silver watch, chunky gold hoop earrings and dramatic cat-eye sunglasses.
Lawrence was first tapped as a muse for Dior after skyrocketing to fame in 2012 due to her starring role in the first “Hunger Games” film. The French luxury fashion house’s creative director Raf Simons said of selecting Lawrence, “I was struck by her incredible on-screen presence in these blockbuster films, but also by her powerful interpretations of subtler, more rounded characters.” In 2014, she would go on to extend her deal with the brand for another three years for $15 million.
